Stuart Sailfish Club

A Stuart Tradition Since 1941

For over 80 years, the Stuart Sailfish Club has been a gathering place for anglers, families, and friends who believe in friendly competition, conservation, and giving back to the waters we call home.

Founded in 1941 and rooted in the sailfish capital of the world, the Stuart Sailfish Club has spent generations bringing people together through fishing, friendship, and marine conservation. From our tournaments to our scholarship and community programs, we’re proud to carry on a legacy that celebrates tradition while protecting the waters we love.

About the Club
Conservation

Fishing with Purpose Since Day One

The Stuart Sailfish Club was among the first in Florida to promote catch-and-release tournaments—and we’ve never looked back. Conservation is built into everything we do, from ethical tournament formats to youth education and scholarships that support future marine professionals.Protecting our waters isn’t a trend for us—it’s a tradition.

Scholarships

Supporting the next generation

Each year, the Stuart Sailfish Club Foundation awards scholarships to local students pursuing marine science, conservation, and other community-focused careers. It’s one of the many ways our members give back—by investing in the future of our waters and the people who protect them.
