As President of the Stuart Sailfish Club, I would like to invite you to become a member of one of the most family-friendly, fun, and philanthropic clubs in Martin County, and on the Treasure Coast.
As a member of The Stuart Sailfish Club you will enjoy monthly events such as BBQ’s, cocktail parties, dinners and more. Even our fishing tournaments are held at fun locales, like the Marriott Hutchinson Island Resort, where families can enjoy swimming in one of three beautiful pools, or at the wonderful local beach, or play on the 18-hole golf course. We invite you to come out and meet our more than 350 members where you will have the pleasure of associating with like-minded individuals who love the water, boating and family lifestyle. If you are a boat owner, you will enjoy educational seminars, thrilling tournaments, and flotillas to exciting venues, such as the Bahamas, local weekend destinations, and more. Membership into our Club is open to the public and all boaters, as well as those who do not own boats, or do not fish.
The Stuart Sailfish Club is the oldest sport fishing club in Florida, and one of the oldest in the United States. We were founded in 1941, more than 77 years ago, for the purpose of promoting the conservation of game fish, and encouraging visitors to fish in Martin County waters. Now more than 77 years later, we are a chartered 501(c)(3) organization, raising funds to support several, very worthwhile charities throughout our community, provide scholarships to Martin County students, and educate the community about our precious waterways and fish conservation.
Additional charitable events include hosting our Junior Angler Tournament, which introduces underprivileged children to a day out on the water, and the famous Salt Water Sisters Tournament, which supports Friends in Pink, a local organization dedicated to paying medical bills for local breast cancer patients who are uninsured or under-insured.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. I hope to see you join us!
